25 metres of cable between receiver and dish. ITV London and South good all the time, ITV central areas, Disney, Hallmark watchable most of the time, ITV north areas and ITV 2, problems most of the time. The Syntec 2000 LNB performed better with the 85 cm dish!

I think it may be useful to give you the following details.
I get Astra 2D in Bologna, with an Irte 160 cm. offset dish a Blue Line LNB and my old Pace 2200 receiver (less than 10 metres of cable between receiver and dish, I think) .
Excellent reception of all BBC channels (some break ups in heavy rain but it was ok last night when snowing) and most of the ITV regions but still no ITV2 and northern ITV channels at night time (usually the signal starts to be weaker around 9/10 pm C.E.T). Usually no problems with the BSkyB channels and interactive football.
I've tried before with the same LNB but a 125 cm. dish and I've experienced problems most of the time to get a clear signal (and no chance of BBC and ITV or others at nigh time).

Although I believe I've done everything correctly, including checking the skew of the LNB, I've only managed to get BBC1, luckily in all weather situations. I should be able to get all of the BBC channels, though. The signal strength is about 40%, and the quality of the signal is 80%.

Dish: 1.4m dish
LNB: Stark T1

Using a Grundig 2.41 old digibox and a 1.4 metre dish with a stark cheapo T1 LNB. Dish available in Italy from http://www.campanasat.net (Comes with no assembly instructions - a Chinese puzzle with bits left over afterwards!).
Astra 2D variable - doesn't seem to depend on the weather. Evenings seems to be slightly worse. Watchable most of the time, but occasional break-ups. BBC1 (East) is usually viewable when others are not. In bad weather digibox cant find a signal at all.

Received all BBC and ITV and channel 4. Break-up and picture freeze on BBC1 in heavy rain. Elevation angle critical for good reception.

I have a Panasonic TU-DSB 30 and a new Pace 2600 (very good). I had the Syntec 0.3 but it was giving me a bad reception, so we went for a 0.6 and both my signal and strength during day time are above the ok, evening/night time are both at 50%. I can get all sky channels 24 hours a day, but no Astra 2D. My installer has a Prime Focus 3.00 meter dish, with an old pace receiver and was unable to get Astra 2d, we need to try with my receivers next week. I don’t know if a 1.80 meter channel master offset dish would be able to give me Astra 2D?

Just thought you might like to add this to your reception reports. Last summer I was successfully receiving ITV Astra 2D channels for most of the day (from about 8 am - 10 pm C.E.T) using a Pace 2500 receiver and a Gibertini 1.2m dish
/Televès .5dB LNB in Tirrenia, Tuscan West coast of Italy, just outside Pisa. The receiver was using a hand-adjusted IF tuner module (purely because the original tuner burnt out and the supplier told me the replacement was better aligned than the factory fitted ones!!)I'm going back in July this year so I can update you on BBC reception then.
